Ferries to Norway from Denmark, Sweden and Germany

DFDS seaways "Queen of Scandinavia" operated from Newcastle England to Stavanger, Haugesund and Bergen until August 2008 - there will be no service between England and Norway until at least 2014. In late 2013 it looked like a possibility... but then it went quiet again.

There are several services between Denmark and Norway - especially to Kristiansand and Oslo.

DFDS Seaways England - Denmark and Norway - Denmark

There is no longer a Newcastle - Stavanger - Haugesund - Bergen route - until at least 2014. To travel with car between England and Norway you now need to travel by ferry from Harwich with either DFDS to Esbjerg in Denmark or Stena line to Hook of Holland. Then drive to Hirtshals in northern Denmark for ferries to Norway.
There is still a daily service by DFDS between Oslo and Copenhagen.
